NajaVibes is a Reggae band based in Geneva, formed in 1997. The band’s music influence of course is by Jamaican Reggae , but the originality of NajaVibes reggae also comes from various musical universe form which their musicians comes with different styles as the funk, dub or the hip-hop. It is in a reggae rather varied and little conventional.-
Sinve ten years NajaVibes had given hundreds of shows making their success as band . - But as well as a backing band like in the prestigious Festival Montreux/ Reggae night Switzerland 2008 NajaVibes backed more than 4 hours a dozen international artists e.g. legendary reggae artists as Chezidek, Earl 16, Prince Alla, Sylford Walker, Quique Neira , Uwe Banton….
The collaboration with Asher Selector since 2007 is a very fruitful one – who gradually leads the band step by step to international success.-
Touring with Reggae Artit to Festivals in 2007 to Slovenias Riversplash , and Croatian Seasplash, in 2008 and 2009 accompaning Prince Allah and Raldo Asher to Clubs and Festivals e.g.: Balelec Festival, Sismic Festival, Eurockeennes Festival, Riversplash Festival, Festivals of Geneva, Gena Festival, World Music Festival, Live at Hope n Rock Festival …..
In October 2008 NajaVibes released their first Album BUILDING a FUTURE ./ it is the first official cd of NajaVibes. The topics are the respect, the unity, love, culture, tolerance and the rejection of certain values of the extreme right.
From NajaVibes /Geneva as a stabil band since more than ten years – we can expect many on beautiful compostions and ssuccess at international festivals – as well as to be a professional backing band for many reggae artist from overseas.-
